What we do

Data Analyst Interview is an interview preparation platform built specifically for data analyst roles in India. We cover the full range of what companies actually test — SQL (with a live compiler you can use right here), Python and Pandas, business case study frameworks, and behavioral interview preparation.

Most of the content is completely free. No account needed, no paywall, no signup. The SQL Hub, all 8 SQL topics with worked examples, the Python Hub with 20 pages, the 50+ interview questions — all open access.

The paid part is simple: if you want a real human to run a mock interview and give you written feedback, that is available as a session. Nothing more complicated than that.

Who uses this platform

Mostly people preparing for their first or second data analyst role in India — freshers from engineering and computer science backgrounds, people switching from non-tech roles like marketing or operations, and experienced candidates targeting product companies like Flipkart, Swiggy, Razorpay or FAANG.

We also get candidates preparing for government data-related roles and MBA graduates moving into analytics. The SQL and Python content is useful regardless of background — the difficulty levels are clearly marked so you can start where it makes sense for you.

Why we built this

When Prakhar was interviewing for data analyst roles, the available preparation material was scattered, outdated, or behind a paywall. The free YouTube content covered basics but not the actual questions companies ask. The paid courses were long and generic — not built around interview performance specifically.

The platform started as a collection of SQL questions and model answers put together for personal use. When friends preparing for similar roles found it useful, it grew from there. The SQL compiler was added because reading SQL and writing SQL are completely different skills — and most preparation platforms make you read.
