What this is

Data Analyst Interview is an interview preparation resource built specifically for data analyst roles in India. It covers the full range of what companies actually test — SQL (with a live compiler you can use right in the browser), Python and Pandas, business case-study frameworks, and behavioural interview preparation.

The content is free. No account needed, no paywall, no signup. The SQL Hub with all eight topics and worked examples, the Python Hub, the interview question bank, and the 8-week roadmap are all open access, supported by ads rather than subscriptions.

If you want a real human to run a mock interview and give you written feedback, that’s available as a paid session — nothing more complicated than that.

Who uses this site

Mostly people preparing for their first or second data analyst role in India — freshers from engineering and computer science backgrounds, people switching from non-tech roles like marketing or operations, and experienced candidates targeting product companies.

The SQL and Python content is useful regardless of background — difficulty levels are clearly marked so you can start where it makes sense for you.

Why this was built

When preparing for data analyst roles, the available material tends to be scattered, outdated, or behind a paywall. Free video content covers the basics but not the style of question companies actually ask, and paid courses are usually long and generic rather than built around interview performance.

This site started as a personal collection of SQL questions and model answers. When friends preparing for similar roles found it useful, it grew from there. The SQL compiler was added because reading SQL and writing SQL are completely different skills — and most preparation resources only make you read.
